Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Pest Control Technician who is looking to join a growing team and contribute to a positive work environment. This role involves inspecting, treating, and preventing pest issues across residential homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service. Prior experience in pest management or related fields is a plus, but comprehensive training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop specialized skills in pest control while contributing to the health and safety of our clients.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and entry points
Apply appropriate treatments using various pest control products and techniques
Use hand tools, power tools, and effectively for treatment applications
Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments, and follow-up visits
Educate clients on pest prevention methods and answer any questions they may have
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards
Assist in the setup and cleanup of equipment at job sites
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery

Experience

Prior experience with customer service is required
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or similar equipment is beneficial
Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments
Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry best practices

REQUIRES: Ontario Structural Exterminators License
