Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Food Processing Associate to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced food industry environment. This role involves working in a clean and safe facility to ensure high-quality food products are processed efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on food safety, sanitation, and mechanical understanding, contributing to the production of safe and delicious food items. This position offers opportunities for growth within the manufacturing sector and requires a team-oriented attitude.

Duties

Operate packaging equipment to prepare products for distribution, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Assist with the operation of moving raw materials and finished goods safely within the facility
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards throughout all stages of processing
Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of work areas and equipment to meet health regulations
Conduct basic mechanical tasks such as troubleshooting minor equipment issues and performing simple maintenance
Follow detailed instructions for food processing procedures, including portioning, labeling, and quality checks
Use basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and inventory tracking
Support the implementation of manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and product quality
Make records or Logs of batches of products.

Qualifications

Prior experience or familiarity with the food industry or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
Food Handlers Certificate is necessary to work. Can be obtained after hiring right Candidate.
Knowledge of packaging processes is a plus
Strong understanding of food safety protocols and sanitation procedures
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Good Personal Hygiene is Imperative.
Ability to work efficiently in a team setting while adhering to safety guidelines
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment

This role is ideal for individuals interested in food processing operations who prioritize safety, quality, and teamwork. Candidates should be prepared to contribute positively to our production goals while maintaining strict compliance with health standards.

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
