Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Part-time baker to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry, especially those with experience in baking, food preparation, and customer service. The ideal candidate will assist in creating and preparing food items and baked goods, while ensuring a high standard of food safety and quality. This position is perfect for someone looking to develop their culinary skills in a dynamic, fast paced and friendly environment.

** MUST be available for early mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities:

Prepare a variety of food items, including baked goods, desserts, and other kitchen offerings
Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, assembling, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
Package finished products securely for delivery or customer pickup
Follow all food safety regulations and standards to ensure quality and hygiene
Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction

Experience

Prior experience in bakery work or food service is highly preferred
Restaurant or food industry experience is a plus, especially in fast-paced environments
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
Experience with baking, cooking, and food preparation methods
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and packaging processes is beneficial

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
