JOB OPPORTUNITY: Real Estate Assistant & Marketing Manager

Location: Howick, Ontario (Near Fordwich)

Position: Full-Time (Flexible Hours)

Salary: $40,000 / year + Education Support

Reports To: Sam McGill, Owner/REALTOR®

Are you a creative professional with a mind for organization?

We are looking for a dynamic, multi-talented individual to join our team as a Real Estate Executive Assistant and Marketing Manager. This is a unique "solo" role where you will work directly alongside the owner, Sam McGill, acting as the right hand in both the creative and operational sides of the business.

This isn't your typical desk job. One day you’ll be on-site capturing the perfect cinematic shot of a new listing, and the next you’ll be streamlining our office systems or managing social media growth.

The Responsibilities

1. Creative & Media Management

Content Creation: Visit property listings to capture high-quality photography and video.
Social Media Coordination: Manage posting schedules, engage with the community, and help build a cohesive brand identity across platforms.
Creative Direction: Use your background to bring fresh ideas to how we present properties to the world.

2. Operations & Administration

Paperwork Processing: Handle real estate documents and ensure all transactions stay on track.
Organization: Manage file systems, recordkeeping, and general office flow to keep the business running smoothly.

What We Offer

Flexibility: Full-time hours with a flexible schedule to accommodate the rhythm of the real estate market and your schedule. This isn’t a job where I expect you to be in the office 9-5, We are happy to work with your busy schedule, if you can work with ours. The hours will mostly be Monday to Friday, but can be negotiable to accommodate your schedule, as well. Work will be in office, on the road with local listings and at Sam McGill's office outside of Fordwich, ON
Mentorship & Growth: Work one-on-one with the owner. If you are interested in becoming a licensed agent, we are happy to assist with the costs and education required to obtain your real estate license.
Transportation: Travel is a part of the job, you will be reimbursed for mileage used for your vehicle.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a "jack-of-all-trades" who is as comfortable behind a camera as they are behind a spreadsheet. You should possess:

A Creative Eye: A background in photography, video, or design is highly preferred but not required.
Media Savvy: A genuine interest in social media trends and digital marketing.
Organizational Prowess: You enjoy "cleaning up" processes and keeping files in perfect order.
Real Estate Interest: You don’t need a license, but you will be immersed into the industry, thus an interest in real estate is an asset.
Local Proximity: Ability to work out of Howick/Fordwich, Ontario, with a willingness to travel for property shoots and staging preparation within an hour radius.
