Early Childhood Educator (Levels 1, 2, or 3)

Are you a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator looking for a role that offers a healthy work-life balance?

Klorious Kids Childcare Center is a premier facility in Fort McMurray, and we are expanding our team to support families working non-standard hours. We are seeking ECE Levels 1, 2, or 3 for various shifts, including evenings, and weekends. Whether you are looking for a steady routine or a schedule that works around your personal life, we have a place for you.

Duties

Design and lead engaging lesson plans and activities that foster physical, cognitive, social, and language skills.
Implement emotional regulation strategies and specialized education techniques for children with diverse needs or disabilities.
Monitor developmental milestones, maintain digital records/portfolios, and identify potential learning or behavioral needs.
Build strong relationships with parents through regular updates on their child’s progress and achievements.
Maintain a clean, inclusive, and organized classroom in compliance with health standards, including conducting monthly fire drills.
Efficiently manage daily routines and transitions using excellent time management and organizational skills.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with ECE best practices.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that foster early childhood development in areas such as language, motor skills, and social interaction.
Incorporate special education strategies when working with children with additional needs.
Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes.
Lead activities that promote creativity, curiosity, and social skills among children.

Experience

Prior classroom experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
Experience working with children who have special needs or disabilities is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues using strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with early childhood education principles, teaching methodologies, and classroom management techniques.
Proven organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently within a dynamic environment.
Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and foster collaborative teamwork among staff members. This position offers an enriching opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives while developing professionally within a supportive educational community.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
