Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team for seasonal positions; with the opportunity to extend into a full time employee. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a hospitality environment. This role is essential in maintaining the overall appearance and hygiene of our facilities, ensuring that guests have a pleasant and welcoming experience. This Motel is single story 99 room property that expands in four quadrants we call : The big island, The little Island, The big C (sea), the Little C (sea). Housekeepers are an instrumental part of the overhaul we have been doing for two years at this location. A combination of working indoors and outdoors (as you travel from room).

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces; and sanitize bathrooms.
Change bed linens and towels as needed, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to maintain inventory levels.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the facility.

Requirements

Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of hospitality standards is a plus, particularly in hotel settings.
Must be physically capable of performing cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
