Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Liquor Assistant to join our retail team. This role involves supporting daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a well-organized and clean environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a positive attitude. Bilingual skills are a plus to better serve our diverse customer base. This position offers an engaging work environment where teamwork and attention to detail are highly valued.

Duties

Assist customers with selecting products and provide knowledgeable recommendations
Maintain accurate merchandising displays to attract customers and promote sales
Operate cash registers and handle cashiering duties efficiently and accurately
Restock shelves and ensure the proper organization of liquor products
Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep the store tidy and compliant with safety standards
Use forklifts or other equipment as needed for inventory management (training provided)
Support inventory counts, stock rotation, and product ordering processes
Ensure compliance with all legal age restrictions and store policies during sales transactions
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
Knowledge of merchandising, inventory management, or forklift operation is advantageous but not required (training available)
Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist a diverse clientele effectively
Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
Organizational skills necessary for maintaining stock levels, displays, and store cleanliness
Ability to perform cleaning tasks regularly to uphold store standards
Experience with cashiering systems is beneficial but not mandatory

This position is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment while providing exceptional service. Candidates should be organized, reliable, and eager to learn new skills to grow within the company.

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour
