Fredericton Rentals Ltd. / Gorham Real Estate /Premiere Suites Fredericton

Fredericton Rentals Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated, outgoing and creative Leasing & Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

This is a key customer-facing position responsible for serving as the primary leasing agent for our residential rental portfolio, while also leading the day-to-day execution of our social media, digital marketing and rental advertising.

The ideal candidate is confident working with people, comfortable with sales, highly responsive, organized and experienced in creating engaging social media content. This person will play an important role in maintaining strong occupancy levels, generating qualified rental leads and presenting our properties and company professionally across all digital platforms.

The Role

As our Leasing & Marketing Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents—from their first inquiry through to signing their lease.

You will manage rental leads, conduct apartment showings, follow up with prospective residents, assist with applications and leasing documentation, and work closely with the management team to help achieve occupancy and leasing targets.

You will also take an active role in building our online presence. This includes creating social media content, photographing and promoting available apartments, developing digital campaigns and ensuring our properties are presented professionally and consistently online.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, social media, marketing, real estate and working with people.

Leasing & Sales Responsibilities

Serve as the Company's primary leasing agent for residential rental properties.
Respond promptly and professionally to rental inquiries received by phone, email, website, social media and other advertising platforms.
Qualify prospective residents and identify rental options that best meet their needs.
Schedule and conduct apartment and property showings.
Provide knowledgeable and professional information about available apartments, properties, amenities and neighbourhoods.
Follow up consistently with prospective residents to convert qualified leads into completed applications and leases.
Assist prospective residents throughout the application and leasing process.
Assist in preparing and processing leasing documentation accurately and efficiently.
Maintain organized records of leads, showings, applications, leases and leasing activity.
Monitor upcoming vacancies and work proactively to minimize vacancy periods.
Maintain accurate and attractive rental listings across applicable advertising platforms.
Develop strong knowledge of our rental portfolio and the Fredericton rental market.
Assist with Premiere Suites Fredericton inquiries, reservations and furnished accommodation as required.
Participate in the Company's leasing on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire leasing experience.

Social Media & Marketing Responsibilities

Take a lead role in managing the Company's social media presence.
Create, schedule and publish engaging content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and other relevant channels.
Create photos, videos, Reels, Stories and other short-form content showcasing available apartments, properties, amenities and company activities.
Develop creative strategies to increase engagement, followers, brand awareness and rental leads.
Monitor social media messages, comments and inquiries and ensure timely responses.
Create and manage digital advertising campaigns to promote vacancies and generate qualified leads.
Maintain consistent branding and messaging across social media, websites and advertising platforms.
Assist with photography and video content for apartment listings and property marketing.
Develop marketing materials, promotional campaigns and leasing initiatives.
Monitor the performance of social media and digital advertising and recommend improvements based on results.
Stay current with social media trends, platform changes and new opportunities to promote our properties.
Assist with company events, resident initiatives and promotional activities.
Work with management to develop creative marketing strategies that support occupancy and company growth.

The successful candidate will be someone who is personable, confident, creative and sales-driven, with a strong understanding of social media and digital marketing.

You should be comfortable speaking with new people, conducting apartment tours and following up on leads, while also being able to create professional and engaging marketing content that represents our brand.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience in leasing, sales, real estate, hospitality or customer service is considered a strong asset.
Demonstrated experience managing business social media accounts and creating engaging digital content.
Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Reels, Stories and current social media trends.
Experience creating photo and video content for social media.
Experience with digital and traditional advertising.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong sales and relationship-building abilities.
Confident, professional and comfortable conducting apartment showings.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple leads, appointments and priorities.
Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Experience with Canva, Adobe or other content-creation/design programs is considered an asset.
Ability to learn property management and CRM software.
Professional judgment and emotional maturity.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays as required for leasing activities.
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle available for business use.
Ability to provide an updated security clearance letter prior to commencing employment.
