REPORTS TO: Executive Housekeeper

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Houseperson is an essential part of the Moxy crew—keeping things clean, stocked, and ready for whatever the day brings. You’ll help the housekeeping team maintain a setting that’s as neat as it is lively, ensuring public spaces, guest floors, and back-of-house areas always look sharp. Whether you’re flipping linens, tidying up the lobby, or jumping in to help the crew, you bring the Moxy attitude: fun, focused, and always one step ahead.

WHO YOU ARE:

Experience:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience helpful but not required.

Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

Preferred Extras:

Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings

Familiarity with housekeeping tools or applications (Marriott GXP knowledge is a plus)

Bilingual (English/French) an asset

Strong communication and teamwork

Passions for great service and keeping the Moxy vibe alive

Physical Requirements:

Comfortable working on your feet and moving throughout the hotel

Able to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks (bending, pushing, pulling, etc)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Keep it Fresh:

Maintain all public spaces and guest floors—hallways, elevators, restrooms, stairwells, lobby, gym, and event areas—with serious pride and energy.

Vacuum, dust, sweep and mop to Moxy standards (and keep that cheeky smile while you’re at it).

Restock and organize supplies so that the crew always has what they need.

Support the Crew:

Deliver linens, towels and amenities where the action is.

Partner with Room Attendants to reset rooms and stock carts

Respond quickly to guest requests with warmth and efficiency

Log maintenance issues and pass them on to the right team.

Shine Behind the Scenes:

Keep storage areas, housekeeping closets, and back-of-hose spaces clean and organized

Sort, transport, and restock linens with care

Follow all safety and security policies to maintain a safe workplace

Report any maintenance issues (broken fixtures, tv’s, lighting etc.) to the appropriate departments for prompt resolution.

Support room attendants with room preparations and re-stocking supplies.

Utilize GXP to handle guest issues/requests.
