Soucieuse d’offrir un environnement propre, sécuritaire et accueillant à ses occupants, l’entreprise située à Ottawa est à la recherche d’un·e concierge polyvalent·e qui contribuera à l’entretien quotidien de ses espaces communes.

Votre rôle

À titre de concierge, vous serez la personne de référence sur le terrain pour assurer le bon fonctionnement des immeubles sous votre responsabilité. Vous veillerez à la propreté, à la sécurité et à l’entretien général des lieux tout en effectuant des inspections régulières, des travaux d’entretien courant et certaines réparations mineures. Vous contribuerez également à offrir un milieu de vie agréable en répondant aux besoins des occupants et en signalant toute situation nécessitant une intervention spécialisée.

Ce qui vous attend

Effectuer l’entretien ménager des aires communes, notamment les corridors, les halls d’entrée, les cages d’escalier, les salles communes, et autre;
Nettoyer les vitres, les portes, les ascenseurs et les autres surfaces communes;
Balayer, laver et entretenir les planchers;
Sortir les déchets et les matières recyclables selon les horaires établis;
Effectuer l’entretien extérieur saisonnier, notamment le ramassage des déchets, le déneigement léger des accès et l’épandage d’abrasifs, au besoin;
Réaliser des travaux mineurs de réparation et d’entretien, notamment de la peinture, des ajustements, le remplacement d’ampoules et diverses petites réparations;
Inspecter régulièrement les immeubles afin de repérer les anomalies, les bris ou les besoins d’entretien;
Signaler les situations nécessitant l’intervention d’un entrepreneur spécialisé;
Répondre aux demandes courantes des locataires et des copropriétaires de manière professionnelle et courtoise;
Collaborer avec les fournisseurs, les entrepreneurs et l’équipe de gestion immobilière;
Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe liée au bon entretien des immeubles.

Profil recherché

Expérience en entretien d’immeubles, en conciergerie ou en maintenance;
Bonne condition physique permettant d’accomplir les différentes tâches d’entretien;
Capacité à travailler à l’extérieur selon les saisons;
Bon sens de l’organisation et autonomie;
Capacité à gérer efficacement les priorités;
Débrouillardise et aptitude à résoudre des problèmes;
Excellent sens du service à la clientèle;
Bilinguisme en français et en anglais, à l’oral et à l’écrit;
Fiabilité, ponctualité et professionnalisme;
Vérification de antécédents criminels devra être effectuée.

Horaire

Poste permanent de 37.5 heures par semaine;
Horaire de jour du mardi au samedi;
Interventions sur appel, en soirée ou la fin de semaine, au besoin;

Salaire

Salaire entre 22 $ et 25 $ l’heure.

Committed to providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for its occupants, our client in Ottawa is seeking a versatile Apartment Building Superintendent to support the day-to-day maintenance of its residential properties.

Your Role

As an Apartment Building Superintendent, you will serve as the on-site point of contact responsible for ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of the buildings under your care. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment by performing regular inspections, routine maintenance, and minor repairs. You will also contribute to creating a pleasant living environment by responding to residents' needs and identifying situations that require specialized maintenance services.

What You'll Be Doing

Perform cleaning and maintenance of common areas, including hallways, entrance lobbies, stairwells, shared rooms, and other common spaces;
Clean windows, doors, elevators, and other common surfaces;
Sweep, mop, and maintain floors;
Remove garbage and recycling according to the established schedule;
Perform seasonal outdoor maintenance, including litter collection, light snow removal from entrances and walkways, and the application of ice-melting materials, as required;
Carry out minor maintenance and repair work, including painting, adjustments, light bulb replacement, and various small repairs;
Conduct regular building inspections to identify deficiencies, damage, or maintenance needs;
Report issues requiring the services of specialized contractors;
Respond to routine requests from tenants and condominium owners in a professional and courteous manner;
Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and the property management team;
Perform any other related duties required to ensure the proper maintenance of the buildings.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in building maintenance, property maintenance, custodial services, or a similar role;
Good physical condition and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks;
Ability to work outdoors in all seasons;
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently;
Excellent time management and prioritization skills;
Resourceful with strong problem-solving abilities;
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;
Bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written;
Reliable, punctual, and professional;
A satisfactory criminal background check is required.

Schedule

Permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week);
Day shift, Tuesday through Saturday;
Evening and weekend on-call availability may be required, as needed;

Salary

Hourly wage ranging from $22.00 to $25.00.
