Full job description

Club Pilates is seeking a motivated, energetic, and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team and help drive membership growth and sales performance. Working closely with the General Manager, the Sales Manager will lead the sales team, manage leads and member inquiries, and create an exceptional experience for prospective and current members.

The ideal candidate is a confident leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is passionate about achieving sales goals, developing team members, and growing our studio community.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed membership and retail sales goals
Manage and follow up with leads through phone calls, texts, emails, and other communication channels
Oversee the studio's lead-to-membership conversion process and identify opportunities to improve sales performance
Conduct sales consultations, membership presentations, and follow-ups with prospective members
Train and coach Sales Associates on sales techniques, customer service, lead follow-up, Club Pilates memberships, and retail products
Monitor individual and team sales performance and provide ongoing feedback and coaching
Help develop and execute local sales promotions, outreach initiatives, referral programs, and community partnerships in collaboration with the General Manager
Support member retention by maintaining strong relationships with current members and identifying opportunities to enhance their experience
Ensure the front desk and sales team consistently provide a welcoming, professional, and high-quality member experience
Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new sales team members
Manage sales team schedules and ensure appropriate coverage during studio operating hours
Maintain accurate lead, sales, and membership records within the studio's systems
Work closely with the General Manager on sales targets, promotions, events, and overall studio growth
Assist with retail sales, merchandising, inventory awareness, and maintaining an organized retail area
Handle escalated sales or member concerns professionally and bring operational matters to the General Manager when appropriate
Support studio events, community outreach, and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and membership growth

Experience & Qualifications

Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality, fitness, or customer service leadership
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals
Previous experience supervising, coaching, or leading a team
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Confident and professional phone, email, and in-person communication
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to motivate a team and hold team members accountable to performance expectations
Comfortable working with sales and customer management systems, POS systems, and other studio technology
Experience with lead management, follow-up, membership sales, or client retention is an asset
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required

The Sales Manager will work under the direction of the General Manager and will be an important part of the studio's leadership team, with a primary focus on sales growth, lead conversion, team performance, and member experience.
