Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Laser Cutter Operator and become a vital part of creating precision-cut components for a variety of industries. In this energetic role, you will operate advanced CNC laser cutting machines to produce high-quality parts efficiently and accurately. Your mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will drive our production forward while ensuring top-tier quality standards are met every time.

Duties

Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC laser cutting machines to produce precise cuts.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser cutting equipment to maximize uptime and efficiency.
Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices for quality inspection and verification of finished parts.
Assist with material handling using cranes, forklifts, or other lifting equipment to load raw materials and unload finished products safely.
Collaborate with team members to optimize cutting processes, improve workflow, and maintain safety standards across the manufacturing floor.
Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure parts meet specifications and standards before final assembly or shipment.

Experience

Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines.
Familiarity with CNC programming and setup procedures for laser cutters or other machining equipment.
Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in welding, machining, or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
Ability to read blueprints accurately and utilize measurement tools like calipers for quality control.
Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements.
Experience with hand tools, assembly processes, and quality inspection techniques is a plus.
Certifications in forklift driving are advantageous but not mandatory; safety training is essential.
