Job Title: General Labour (Assembly Technician)

Job Function Overview

The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast paced assembly operation completing a number of repetitive tasks
Help Prep Paint: straightening and replacing body parts, filling, sanding, and priming vehicles so they can be sent to the painter.
Able to put tires and boards on trailers
The ability to operate hand tools is a definite asset
Training is provided
Keep work place organized
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Handle Materials – within the shop and outdoors as required
Work effectively and efficiently to complete your work within the job standard
Knowledgeable about various tools and equipment, including: jigsaw, drills, chop saw, tape measure, blueprints, etc

Skills:

Must be punctual and possess a strong work ethic
Mechanically inclined
Perform work safely and follow established work procedures
Willing to learn, flexible & reliable
Physical effort and dexterity is required
Welding Experience Considered an Asset

Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience in the fitting/welder discipline
Experience using power tools or hand tools (drills, squares, measuring tape etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as a team

Hours per week: Monday to Friday, 41 hours

Benefits: Yes, after completion of 90 days probationary period
