Join our dynamic retail team as a Front End Manager, where you'll lead the front-of-store operations with energy, enthusiasm, and a customer-first mindset. As a Front End Manager, you will oversee daily store functions, motivate your team, and ensure exceptional customer service that keeps our customers coming back. Your proactive approach will drive sales growth, streamline operations, and foster a positive store atmosphere that reflects our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
· Perform & manage efficient running of department
· Implement Company policies and procedures and ensure excellence in customer service
· Ensure proper preparation and packaging of product as well as rotation
· Ensure the department is properly merchandised to Company standards and consumer needs. Able to make suitable suggestions to customers
· Ensure quality control standards and pricing integrity are upheld while maintaining inventory control records
· Ensure all the required work gets completed in a timely manner
· Ensure appropriate orders to achieve business standards
· Manage department conditions achieving business standards
· Walk store at end of shift to review in stock position and out of stock concerns
· Recommend aggressive and achievable sales goals
· Required to conduct inventory, monitor waste control and ensure accuracy of invoicing
· Responsible for the daily maintenance and cleanup of the store which will involve exposure to cleaning solutions for sanitation purposes
· Supervision, selection, training and development of staff
· Ensure accuracy of invoicing and other admin duties
· Schedule department employee hours within budget and manage costs of department within the company budget
· Communicate colleagues and management - work together as a team
· Provide and encourage a positive, safe working environment; promote teamwork and a positive morale among colleagues
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
· Education and experience will be considered as part of the screening/interviewing and selection process only
· Strong knowledge of retail grocery business
· Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
· Self-motivated, service-oriented team player
· Excellent organizational skills; able to prioritize workload
· Ability to work independently and to maintain strict confidentiality
· Strong verbal/written communication, math skills, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
· Computer skills; the successful candidate will be required to utilize MS Office, e-mail and applicable software
· Flexibility to work a variety of hours which include Days, Afternoons, Evenings and Weekends
Pay: $19.50-$26.17 per hour
