Full job description

6 month contract - remote Our client is seeking a D365 Finance & Operations Developer to design and develop solutions supporting both business and technical integration requirements within a cloud-based Dynamics 365 F&O environment.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on D365 F&O development experience, along with a solid understanding of Microsoft technologies, integrations, APIs and Azure services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop enhancements, extensions, defect corrections and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
Design and develop solutions across D365 F&O and related Microsoft technologies.
Identify technical and design challenges and develop effective, scalable solutions.
Translate business requirements into technical and non-functional requirements.
Design and customize D365 F&O and related applications, including customer-facing portals and supporting solutions.
Develop and support integrations between D365 F&O and peripheral applications and platforms.
Support data migration, system interfacing and API integration initiatives.
Work with Azure services and Microsoft technologies to develop cloud-based solutions.
Take a user-centered approach to solution design and development, with an emphasis on rapid iteration and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams and other project participants throughout the software development lifecycle.
Contribute to end-to-end D365 implementations, enhancements and integration initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands-on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) experience.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Experience designing and customizing D365 F&O.
Hands-on experience with X++.
Experience with .NET, SQL Server, HTML and JavaScript.
Experience developing and integrating APIs and web services.
Experience with D365 F&O interfacing, integration and data migration.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and cloud-based solutions.
Experience with Azure and related integration services.
Understanding of secure application development practices.
Experience working with Sage and Star applications is an asset.

Qualifications & Experience

3+ years of experience across the full software development lifecycle, including development, implementation and integration within an enterprise D365 F&O environment.
Strong knowledge of D365 F&O functionality and the underlying technology stack.
Experience with end-to-end D365 module implementations is preferred.
D365 F&O certifications are considered an asset.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative technical team.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a hands-on D365 F&O developer who can work beyond the core ERP platform and understand how D365 connects to the broader Microsoft and Azure ecosystem. Strong integration, API, X++, C# and Azure experience will be particularly valuable.
