Full job description

ACF is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee oilfield construction projects from estimating and pre-construction through shop fabrication, module assembly, field installation, and project closeout.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a practical, organized, and accountable Project Manager who understands how a project moves from an estimate into successful execution.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working with both the financial and operational sides of construction and will take ownership of project performance from initial estimate through final completion.

Experience in oilfield construction and an understanding of the relationship between estimating, fabrication productivity, project controls, and field execution will be valuable in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare project estimates and proposals, including labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project costs
Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and bid packages to develop accurate estimates and execution plans
Manage awarded projects from kickoff through completion and closeout
Coordinate engineering, procurement, shop fabrication, module assembly, transportation, and field installation activities
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost-to-complete projections
Monitor project costs, labour productivity, progress, commitments, and overall financial performance
Manage project scope and ensure changes, extras, and change orders are properly identified, estimated, documented, and approved
Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, engineering, shop personnel, and field operations
Identify project risks, schedule impacts, and cost concerns and take appropriate action to keep projects on track
Provide regular project reporting on cost, schedule, progress, risks, and upcoming priorities
Support project invoicing and ensure required documentation is completed throughout the project lifecycle
Review completed projects against original estimates to improve future estimating, productivity assumptions, and project performance
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure projects meet expectations for safety, quality, schedule, and cost

Qualifications & Experience

Previous project management experience in oil and gas, industrial construction, fabrication, or modular construction
Experience estimating construction projects and developing project budgets
Strong understanding of shop fabrication, modular construction, and field installation
Strong knowledge of project cost control, forecasting, scheduling, and change management
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and construction documentation
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with both office and field personnel
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard project management and reporting tools
Experience with Microsoft Power BI for dashboards, project reporting, cost tracking, or performance analysis is considered an asset
Valid driver's license

Schedule: Hours and schedule varying based on project and client requirements.
