Your Opportunity:

In addition to an attractive rate of pay, APL currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable & is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay. You’re intelligent, investigative, and detail-oriented – just the type of person we need at Alberta Precision Laboratories for the role of Medical Laboratory Technologist. This position lends itself to a dynamic, efficient, and well-rounded member who thrives in a fast-paced team environment dealing with differing priorities, complex testing, and a high-volume workload. Here you will have the opportunity to mentor and train new students and staff members. To succeed in this diverse and elaborate environment you should possess advanced organizational and prioritization skills, have strong communication skills and be able to engage effectively with various stakeholders. The position includes various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.

Description:

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples within the laboratory department. You will perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment and research.
