Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, regular travel, developing strong relationships, and driving business growth. This role requires a proactive approach to account management, with a focus on understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions. The Account Manager will work closely with sales teams and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Duties

Provide insights into market conditions and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Travel the prospective territory, managing customer accounts and prospecting new business with the primary goal of managing their fleet by assisting in the buying and selling of used trucks, trailers, and machinery in the Grande Prairie area and Northern BC.
This position has a top-performing territory with a large existing customer base.
Potential to supply our service to multiple businesses in the construction, transportation, logging, forestry, mining, oilfield, and environmental waste industries.
With the ability to adjust our focus on highly active markets. Motivated and hard-working candidates have the opportunity to earn a favourable income without any limitations.

Qualifications

5 + years of sales experience, or 2 years of selling experience + a degree in business, finance, marketing, or a Journeyman certificate in a related industry.
A minimum of 3 years total experience with, or related to, heavy trucks, trailers, or machinery is required.
Excellent organizational and time management skills are required. The ability to set and keep priorities and professionally handle the stress associated with dealing with a fast-paced industry and time frames is a must.
Enthusiastic, self-starter and hard worker who is committed to continuous improvement, with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision.
Excellent computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and other proprietary software, are required.
Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
High degree of interpersonal skills.

Work Structure

Remote work environment with regular travel, travel expenses and car allowance available.
A company laptop and phone will be provided.
Administrative team is available to manage all sale documents and sale funds.
Marketing team available to advertise listings in Canada and internationally.
Attendance at weekly sales meetings is required.

Base Salary $40,000 plus vehicle allowance and commission. OTE (On Target Earnings) pay: $100,000 - $200,000.
