GRM -GP is a growing, customer-focused oilfield company providing quality products and services to the energy industry. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Inside Sales Representative to join our team.

About Opportunity- What We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will be a dependable and adaptable team player who understands that working in a small company often means being willing to step outside their primary responsibilities to support the overall operation. You will be comfortable moving between customer service and sales activities and assisting with inventory, shipping, and receiving when business demands require it.

This is a hands-on role well suited to someone who enjoys working in a small-team environment where responsibilities can vary throughout the day. The successful candidate will primarily support customers and drive sales but will also assist with inventory management and Shipping & Receiving (S&R) activities as required.

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing responsive customer service, preparing quotations and processing sales orders, developing customer relationships, and supporting day-to-day sales activities. Create and process intercompany warehouse transfers.

In addition, the successful candidate will assist with inventory control, receiving, shipping, and general warehouse support during busy periods or when required.

Key Responsibilities

Inside Sales and Customer Service

Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
Prepare quotations, process sales orders, and follow up on outstanding opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
Coordinate with purchasing, operations, and the shop to ensure product availability and accurate delivery timelines.
Follow up on orders, backorders, and customer concerns.
Maintain accurate customer, sales, and order information in the company's systems.
Assist with identifying new sales opportunities and supporting business development initiatives.
Work collaboratively with outside sales and other team members to support customer requirements.

Inventory Support

Assist with receiving, counting, organizing, and maintaining inventory.
Participate in cycle counts and periodic physical inventory counts.
Help ensure inventory is accurately labelled, stored, and recorded.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and report concerns to management.
Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

Shipping & Receiving Support

Assist with receiving incoming materials and verifying quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
Prepare outgoing customer orders for shipment or pickup.
Complete required shipping and receiving documentation.
Coordinate with freight carriers and customers regarding pickups and deliveries.
Inspect incoming and outgoing products for visible damage or discrepancies.
Assist with loading and unloading materials as required, following all applicable safety procedures.

General

Support other departments and assist with additional duties as required in a small-team environment.
Maintain a professional, positive, and customer-focused approach.
Follow all company policies, procedures, quality requirements, and health and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Previous inside sales, customer service, or sales coordination experience, preferably within the oil and gas, oilfield service, industrial, manufacturing, or distribution sectors.
Knowledge of oilfield products, valves, fittings, pipe, or related equipment would be considered an asset.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain productive customer relationships.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
Experience with inventory control, ERP systems, or order-entry systems would be an asset.
Previous Shipping & Receiving or warehouse experience would be considered an asset.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Ability to occasionally lift and move materials in accordance with company safety procedures.
Forklift experience or certification would be considered an asset.
