Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Candidates with a passion for food, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety are encouraged to apply.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
Serve dishes promptly and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and food safety standards
Excellent skills in meal preparation and presentation
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Prior restaurant experience is required; willingness to learn is essential
