Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong attention to cleanliness, and experience working in fast-paced restaurant or hotel settings. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health standards
Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and helping chefs as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and organizing work areas
Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met
Assist with stock rotation and inventory management of kitchen supplies
Support the serving staff during busy periods by managing dishware and ensuring timely cleanup

Experience

Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred
Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food handling safety regulations is advantageous
Experience with food preparation and basic cooking techniques is a plus
Familiarity with hospitality operations and customer service standards is beneficial
Previous roles involving food service or kitchen duties will be considered an asset
