Summary:
DMC is currently looking for a Document Controller to join our team on a contract basis, based in Sudbury, Ontario. The Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining the organization's documentation systems to ensure the efficient and secure handling of all documents. This role ensures accurate tracking, distribution, and archiving of all project-related and organizational documentation while adhering to organizational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain document control systems and procedures.
- Organize and file documents, both physical and electronic, to ensure accessibility and security.
- Ensure proper version control and tracking of revisions.
- Ensure that all documentation adheres to contractual and organizational standards.
- Distribute and circulate documents to relevant stakeholders as required.
- Monitor and track document submissions, reviews, and approvals, and generate reports as required.
- Work closely with project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth documentation flow.
- Provide support and training to staff on document control processes.
Qualifications:
- Completion of high school program or general education degree or one-year related experience.
- Ability to understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions.
- Computer knowledge and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Additional Information:
- We are hiring to fill an existing vacancy.
- Salary Range is expected to be between: $55,000 to $70,000 CAD (including hourly incentive bonus).
