Daily and Long Term Assignments

Regular English and French as a Second Language programs

We are hiring new and experienced teachers to join our team, apply now to become part of our vibrant learning community!

Our 12 elementary schools, 4 grades 7 to 12 schools and an adult learning center enjoy strong partnerships with parents, parishes, staff and the community who work together to help our students achieve their full potential and experience success. Ask us about our preferred call out list, opportunities for long‐term assignments and permanent teacher positions. Once in a long‐term assignment (11 days or more), you will be paid based on the current salary grid for Elementary or Secondary teachers and will be recognized for qualifications and years of experience.

As a daily Occasional teacher, you will start building your financial future by contributing to the Teachers’ Pension Plan; you will also have access to an Employee and Family Assistance Program. Once you reach the threshold number of days outlined in the Employee Life and Health Trust, you will also have access to a comprehensive benefit plan.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers

Priest Reference and Faith Reference Portfolio (see Catholic Teacher Application)

Excellent English language communication skills, both oral and written, and French for those qualified to teach in an French as a Second Language setting
