Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join a reputable dental practice in Timmins, Northern Ontario. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality treatment and patient satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped environment with a supportive team committed to excellence in dental health. The Associate Dentist will utilize advanced technology and adhere to best practices in dentistry, contributing to the overall success and growth of our practice.

Min 2 years’ experience and must be comfortable with general dentistry especially endo and basic restorative. Must have great chairside manners and exude compassionate care for our patients. Familiarity with nitrous and sedation, crown and bridge, implants is a bonus. Humility, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn goes a long way. This position is only for those candidates who are willing to relocate/ commute to Timmins, Northern Ontario. The dental office has excellent patient base and very well trained staff.

Responsibilities

Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and other restorative treatments.
Diagnose dental conditions through clinical assessments and radiographs.
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Educate patients on oral health maintenance and preventive care strategies.
Utilize dental software for patient records management and scheduling.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional patient care.
Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, including infection control standards.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques.
Provide care for pediatric patients (Pediatrics) when necessary, ensuring a gentle and compassionate approach.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment, willingness to learn new processes and techniques, willingness to be flexible.

Qualifications

DDS or equivalent licensing degree from an accredited dental school/ board.
Valid state dental license to practice as an Associate Dentist.
Experience working with Dental Office Management Software is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain treatment options clearly to patients.

A competent candidate would be offered 50% of the Associate fee.
