RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Crane / Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our terminal.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Safely operate lifting and material handling equipment, including forklifts, cranes, Reach Stackers, Top Lifts, and other equipment for which you are certified.
Load, unload, move, stack, and reposition containers and other materials throughout the terminal yard according to operational requirements.
Perform daily pre-operational inspections of equipment and report any defects, malfunctions, or maintenance requirements.
Receive, distribute, inspect, and handle generator sets (gensets) used for refrigerated containers.
Assist with general material handling activities and support all aspects of terminal operations.
Follow all operational procedures, company policies, and health and safety regulations at all times.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Work collaboratively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure efficient terminal operations.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the terminal.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience operating forklifts, Reach Stackers, Top Lifts, cranes, or other material handling equipment is considered an asset.
Valid forklift operator certification or the ability to obtain one.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong teamwork skills and a professional attitude.
Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule as operational needs require.
Valid driver's licence.
