We are currently seeking experienced Two-Rotor Miner Operators to join our team for an underground potash mining project near Esterhazy, Saskatchewan. We are looking for individuals who can safely and effectively operate a two-rotor miner in a production mining environment from day one.
Important: This position requires direct experience operating a two-rotor continuous miner in an underground potash mining environment. Applicants without previous two-rotor miner operating experience will not be considered.

Schedule: 7-on, 7-off rotation | 12-Hour Shifts | Alternating Day and Night Rotations
Compensation: Starting rate is based on experience & specialized ticket premiums

Position Summary
As a Two-Rotor Miner Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a two-rotor continuous miner to support underground potash production. Working as part of a mining crew, you will contribute to achieving production targets while maintaining compliance with company, client, and regulatory safety requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a safety sensitive position with no direct reports. Your duties include:
Equipment Operation
- Operate a Two-Rotor Miner: Safely and efficiently operate a two-rotor continuous miner in accordance with mine plans, production requirements, and site procedures.
- Perform Equipment Inspections: Complete pre-operational checks, identify deficiencies, and report maintenance concerns.
- Monitor Mining Conditions: Assess ground conditions, cutting performance, ventilation, and workplace hazards throughout the shift.
Production & Operational Support
- Achieve Production Objectives: Maintain productivity targets while ensuring safe operating practices are followed at all times.
- Coordinate with Support Crews: Work closely with miners, mechanics, electricians, supervisors, and other crew members to support efficient operations.
- Maintain Work Areas: Assist in keeping work areas clean, organized, and compliant with site standards.
Team Support & Safety
- Collaborate: Participate in crew line-ups, safety meetings, hazard assessments, and communicate operational concerns to Site Leadership.
- Promote Safe Work Practices: Follow all company, client, and regulatory health and safety requirements while contributing to a strong safety culture.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Experience: Previous experience operating a two-rotor continuous miner in an underground potash mining environment.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license.
- Saskatchewan Certification: Current Saskatchewan General Mine Safety Awareness (GMSA), Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platforms tickets.
- Attributes: Strong commitment to safety, sound decision-making abilities, and excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Asset Qualifications
- Mining Experience: 2+ years of experience operating continuous miners within Saskatchewan potash operations.
- Tickets: First Aid/ CPR, Ground Disturbance, H2S, or other mine-related certifications.
- Additional Equipment: Experience operating scoop trams, bolters, telehandlers, manlifts, or other underground mobile equipment.
