Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. This role is perfect for individuals interested in gaining experience in the food industry and developing their skills in food handling, cooking, and meal preparation.

Duties

Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service
Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
Help with dishwashing and waste disposal to uphold sanitation standards
Serve food to customers or staff as directed, ensuring proper presentation and portioning
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen organized and efficient
Follow all safety protocols related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with serving, food preparation, cooking, and food handling is advantageous
Experience working in a fast-paced environment within the food industry or restaurant setting is a plus
Knowledge of basic kitchen safety practices and food safety regulations is desirable
No formal experience necessary; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
