Green Goddess Fromagerie | Guelph, Ontario
6-Month Full-Time Contract | 30+ Hours/Week | Potential for Permanent

We make an exceptional product. We need someone who can make people go looking for it.

Green Goddess Fromagerie is a growing Canadian premium food brand making naturally cultured, traditionally crafted vegan cheese.

We're looking for an exceptional, creative and commercially minded marketer to help take the brand to its next stage of growth.

And we have an interesting challenge:

We don't have a direct-to-consumer sales channel.

Our products are refrigerated and sold primarily through grocery stores, natural food retailers and specialty cheese shops.

So a like isn't enough. A follow isn't enough. Even going viral isn't enough.

Our marketing has to get people off their couch, into a store and asking for Green Goddess by name.

At the same time, we need to create enough consumer demand, brand recognition and retail velocity that existing retailers want more of us — and new retailers want us on their shelves.

Your Mission

Build and execute a multi-channel growth strategy that connects:

BRAND AWARENESS → CONSUMER DEMAND → RETAIL SELL-THROUGH → MORE RETAIL LISTINGS → REVENUE

You'll have the opportunity to:

Build and execute a multi-channel marketing strategy and budget.
Collaborate with Leadership team & Sales
Blow up our social presence with content that actually drives consumer behaviour.
Create campaigns that send consumers directly to retailers carrying Green Goddess.
Build intense local demand around existing stores and new retail launches.
Use creators, influencers, PR, partnerships, sampling, paid media and unconventional ideas to expand awareness.
Turn consumer excitement into measurable retail sell-through.
Help make Green Goddess a brand retailers actively want to list — and prominently merchandise.
Support retailer acquisition with compelling marketing, consumer demand and sales evidence.
Measure what drives sales, double down on what works and kill what doesn't.

Who We're Looking For

You don't need 10 years of experience.

You do need ideas, initiative, excellent taste, commercial instincts and the ability to execute.

We're looking for someone who understands that social media is a tool, not the objective.

Followers are nice.

Selling cheese is better.

Experience with CPG, food, retail marketing, social content, paid media, creators/influencers, PR, shopper marketing or high-growth consumer brands is an asset.

Most importantly, we want someone who looks at an incredible product that not enough people know exists and thinks:

“Give me six months. I can change that.”

The Opportunity

This is an approximately six-month full-time contract, with strong potential to become permanent if the role generates the growth and revenue to support it.

Success will be measured by real business outcomes:

More consumers seeking us out.
More product moving through existing stores.
More retailers wanting to carry us.
More revenue.

Eligibility

This position is supported through a Government of Canada youth employment program. Applicants must:

Be under 30 years old
Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or refugee
Have graduated from post-secondary education in Canada
Be available to work at least 30 hours/week for a minimum of six months
