Since its inception in 1965 as a custom Tool & Die machine shop; Guelph Manufacturing Group Inc. (GMG) has evolved into a leading manufacturer and supplier of metal stampings, assemblies, headrest and armrest inserts, wire form, and other metal components to the automotive industry. Celebrating 60 years as a family-owned company, GMG has 3 plants in Guelph, Ontario. Our sales office is located in Warren, Michigan.

Position Summary:

To repair/modify/building tooling to support production.

Key Responsibilities:

· Communicate information verbally/written to fellow employees

· Assist in die changes using forklift and crane as required.

· Work in a team environment.

· Possess enough tools to complete the project on time.

· Fill out/complete the proper work orders for QS9000 format.

· All material handling that is required to complete the required tasks.

· Will comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

High school grade 12 required/Tool & Die License
3-5 years consecutive experience in automotive/ related field
Training as required including but not limited to forklift and crane operation.

Capable of operating all related tool room equipment.
