Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and fluid top-offs, while providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to develop technical skills in automotive repair within a professional dealership environment. Candidates should have a strong mechanical aptitude, enjoy working with tools, and be committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Duties

Perform oil changes, fluid replacements, and filter replacements efficiently and accurately
Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential issues
Use hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance tasks
Assist with additional maintenance or repair services as needed
Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
Promote additional maintenance or repair services when appropriate
Follow safety protocols at all times during vehicle servicing

Qualifications

Previous dealership or mechanic experience is highly preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive systems
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds)
Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
Basic sales skills to recommend additional services to customers
Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and safety standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
