Job Summary:

The Carpenter help will support our Construction team with a range of tasks related to interior remodeling and renovation projects, including framing, trim work, drywall, flooring, and other finish carpentry duties. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on-site with minimal supervision. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with demolition of walls, flooring, cabinetry, and other interior components
Load and unload materials and tools
Measure, cut, and install materials under supervision
Maintain a clean and organized worksite
Assist carpenters, drywallers, and other skilled trades
Operate hand and power tools safely
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Perform general labour duties as assigned by the site supervisor or lead hand

Requirements:

Previous experience in construction or renovations
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Willingness to learn and take direction
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Knowledge of tools and safety practices
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various residential and commercial environments, including all weather conditions
CSA-approved safety boots required
Self supplied hand tools
Valid driver’s license with clean record
Clear criminal record
