Job Summary
The Dental Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position is responsible for overseeing administrative functions, managing front desk operations, and providing exceptional customer service to patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office environment and possess strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage staff and enhance patient experiences.

Duties

Supervise daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulations.
Manage front desk activities, including patient scheduling, check-in/check-out processes, and handling inquiries.
Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) using systems such as Epic and Dentrix.
Oversee billing processes, insurance verification, and collections to ensure accurate financial management.
Train and support staff in administrative procedures, customer service standards, and office protocols.
Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal care delivery.
Implement office policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Maintain inventory of office supplies and dental materials, placing orders as necessary.

Skills

Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office setting.
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly Epic and Dentrix.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and dental professionals.
Proficient in administrative tasks including scheduling, billing, and record keeping.
Ability to lead a team while fostering a positive work environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
