Full job description

Canadian Executive Search Group is looking to hire an Industrial Janitor for a local manufacturing facility in Cambridge, ON

Location: Cambridge, ON

Role: Industrial Janitor

Role Type: Temporary to Permanent

Schedule: Monday through Thursday - Straight Days or Afternoon Shift

Rate: $21.00/hr + 10% shift premium on Afternoons

Start Date: Immediate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintaining a clean facility

Operates scrubbers and other tools

Follows instructions as per the SDS for chemical use

Sweeping and mopping floors

Manages inventory and restocking janitorial supplies

Cleaning walls, sinks, tables, commonly used areas, etc.

Remove garage, recycling, cardboard, etc.

Seasonally – shovel, snowblow, salt, maintaining sidewalks and patio area

Completing paperwork

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Attends all company-specified training as required

Other duties as assigned within the general scope of manufacturing

Education and Experience

Completion of high school diploma, excellent comprehension of English

Must be mechanically inclined with an excellent work ethic

Minimum 1 year of experience in a janitorial role in a manufacturing environment
