Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: negotiable
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation per year
Location: 1306 Bedford Hwy, Bedford, NS B4A 1C8

Job Description

The Marketing Manager will develop and implement marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, social media content, and promotional activities to support the growth and brand development of the institution. The position will work closely with the International Student Recruitment Team to support student recruitment and international marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies and plans.
Promote programs, events, initiatives, and institutional activities.
Manage social media, digital marketing, email marketing, and advertising campaigns.
Create and manage marketing content for online and print platforms.
Plan, film, edit, and produce professional videos, including student testimonials, interviews, promotional videos, events, and social media content.
Coordinate photography and video shoots.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and student research.
Work closely with the International Student Recruitment Team, including recruitment and correspondence with international students and agents in China.
Manage marketing and recruitment budgets.
Coordinate school promotional materials, print materials, and giveaways.
Organize and manage education fairs, recruitment events, open houses, and other events.
Monitor marketing performance and prepare reports.
Undertake special projects and other related duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communications, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on marketing experience in a fast-paced office environment.
Strong videography and video editing skills with hands-on experience using professional camera and video equipment.
Experience creating content for social media platforms.
Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar is an asset.
Strong knowledge of social media and digital marketing.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Creative, detail-oriented, energetic, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Experience with web marketing, international student recruitment, or education-sector marketing is an asset.
