Full job description

We are seeking a highly organized individual with strong analytical skills, accuracy, and professionalism. Reporting directly to the Controller, this full-time role requires someone who excels at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and prides themselves on delivering exceptional internal customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts receivable & accounts payable support
Collection of outstanding payments
Payroll and benefits administration support
Inventory management support
Job costing support
Year-end T4 support
Invoicing support
Collaborating with management, office colleagues, and field crews
Additional administrative or accounting tasks as required

Qualifications & Experience

Post-secondary diploma in Accounting, Payroll, or related field is an asset
Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
Experience with QuickBooks and Jobber is an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
Experience with job costing in the construction, electrical, or trades industry is considered a strong asset
Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal
Ability to use sound judgement, problem-solve, and manage competing priorities
A collaborative team player who is reliable, organized, and accountable
Personal vehicle required (no public transit access to location)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Start Date:

As soon as possible.
