NOW HIRING – BARTENDER Rumours Lounge & Cabaret | Halifax, NS

Rumours Lounge & Cabaret is looking for an energetic, professional, and customer-focused Bartender to join our team.

Rumours is one of Halifax's premier LGBTQIA+ venues, committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and safe space for everyone. If you thrive in a fast-paced nightlife environment and enjoy creating great guest experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly.
Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional attitude.
Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately.
Monitor guest intoxication levels and follow all Nova Scotia liquor regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout your shift.
Work closely with barbacks, security, DJs, and management.
Help open and close the bar following company procedures.
Promote a positive atmosphere while ensuring guests feel welcome and respected.

Qualifications

Bartending experience preferred (training available for the right candidate).
Serving It Right or equivalent certification is an asset.
Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and available evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
