Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Stock Clerk and become a vital part of our retail operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining organized stock areas, ensuring products are properly displayed and accessible, and supporting overall store efficiency. Your proactive approach will help create a seamless shopping experience for customers while keeping the store clean, safe, and well-stocked. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your organizational skills and gain valuable retail experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and accurately stock merchandise, ensuring proper placement and organization
Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment to maintain optimal product levels
Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring products are attractively presented
Operate equipment such as forklifts safely to move heavy or bulky items when necessary
Maintain cleanliness of stock areas, including sweeping, dusting, and general upkeep to promote safety and efficiency
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about product locations or store layout
Support cashiering duties when needed, including processing transactions and handling returns

Requirements

Prior experience in retail sales or stock management is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but training can be provided
Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist customers effectively
Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs
Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain tidy stock areas
Willingness to perform cleaning tasks and routine maintenance around the store
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
