Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu development and food preparation to staff supervision and inventory management. Your leadership will inspire creativity, uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality, and ensure smooth day-to-day restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned culinary professional eager to shape memorable gastronomic journeys while fostering a collaborative and energetic kitchen environment.

Duties

Lead the planning and creation of innovative menus that align with the restaurant’s concept and customer preferences, emphasizing fine dining excellence.
Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and food handlers, ensuring efficient shift management and team collaboration.
Oversee food production processes, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency across all dishes served.
Manage inventory control and food safety procedures to minimize waste, optimize costs, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Coordinate special functions by overseeing food preparation and presentation.
Training focused on culinary skills, food handling safety, and hospitality standards to elevate team performance.
Monitor kitchen operations during shifts to ensure timely service delivery while maintaining a positive work environment.

Experience

Proven experience in a leadership role within a busy restaurant environment, preferably with fine dining or banquet experience.
Extensive culinary background with hands-on cooking expertise across diverse cuisines and dietary requirements.
Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen teams in fast-paced settings with multiple responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, food safety protocols, and food industry regulations.
Experience in menu planning, food production management, and catering logistics is highly desirable.
Maintaining standard operating procedures: Temps, inventory management, employee certifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour
