Full job description

This position is located at at Bedford Guardian on 535 Larry Uteck Blvd, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The successful candidate will be flexible with their schedule and is available to work a variety of shifts including days and evenings on weekdays, weekends and some holidays.

Key responsibilities of a Postal Clerk include:

Provide superior customer service, Abide by the established Canada Post Corporation (SERVE) program.
Handling cash to include selling of money orders, stamps and parcel services
Ensuring the security of the mail and cash
Ability to answer inquires and problem solve postal service issues
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications:

High school education and computer literacy.
Organized and very detailed orientated.
Exceptional customer service and the ability to work in a fast paced enviroment
Able to handle stressful conditions

Pay: From $16.75 per hour
