Branch Manager – Scaffolding & Access Solutions

Halifax, Nova Scotia | Atlantic Canada

We are supporting a retained search for a Branch Manager with a leading scaffolding and access solutions business.

This is an opportunity for a commercially driven professional to take responsibility for an established Halifax operation, with a strong focus on business development, customer relationships, sales growth and branch performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience within scaffolding, access, formwork, equipment rental, construction products or a closely related industry. Previous branch or operations management experience would be advantageous, but strong sales professionals with the right industry background are encouraged to apply.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in growing the company's presence across Nova Scotia, developing new business while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing contractors, industrial clients and commercial customers.

The role combines sales and business development with branch leadership, providing the opportunity to step into a broader management position.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new business and grow market share across Nova Scotia.
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, industrial clients and commercial customers.
Identify new projects, accounts and commercial opportunities.
Develop and execute the local sales strategy.
Work closely with the existing sales and operations teams to deliver complete customer solutions.
Support tenders, quotations, negotiations and commercial agreements.
Maintain strong customer relationships and identify follow-on opportunities.
Support the financial and operational performance of the branch.
Help develop and coach the local sales and operations teams.
Ensure products and services are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and presentations.

What We're Looking For

Strong B2B sales and business development experience.
Experience selling to contractors, industrial or commercial customers.
Background in scaffolding, access, formwork, equipment rental, construction materials or a related industry.
Strong understanding of the local Nova Scotia / Atlantic Canada construction market is highly desirable.
Proven ability to develop relationships and win new business.
Commercially minded with strong negotiation and communication skills.
Previous Branch Manager, Sales Manager, Operations Manager or similar leadership experience is an advantage, but not essential.
Technical understanding of scaffolding/access products would be highly beneficial.
Valid driver's licence.

The Opportunity

This is a chance for a strong construction-focused sales professional to step into a broader branch leadership role, or for an experienced branch leader to take ownership of an established operation and drive its growth across Nova Scotia.

A substantial compensation package is available for the right candidate.
