Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Crew Member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and working efficiently to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and restaurant operations while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist with food safety practices such as proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
Support team members in various restaurant operations as needed

Skills

Experience in food preparation, food service, or related roles within the food industry preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Previous restaurant experience or kitchen experience is advantageous
Ability to upsell menu items to enhance sales performance
Effective communication skills for teamwork and guest interactions

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
