Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dermatologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in patient care, with a focus on skin health, and possess strong clinical and diagnostic skills. This role offers an opportunity to provide specialized dermatological services, contribute to patient education, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a dynamic clinical setting. Experience with hospital environments, research, and advanced medical systems is highly valued.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive dermatological examinations and assessments of patients across all age groups, including pediatrics.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions, including acute care cases and chronic dermatological issues.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication administration and procedural interventions.
Manage patient care in various settings such as outpatient clinics, hospital wards, or home care environments.
Utilize electronic medical records systems such as Epic and Cerner for accurate documentation, data collection, and treatment tracking.
Perform minor dermatological procedures and assist in complex treatments related to pain management and other skin-related concerns.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on research initiatives aimed at improving dermatological practices and patient outcomes.
Educate patients on skin health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness.

Requirements

Medical degree with board certification or eligibility in Dermatology.
Proven experience working in hospital settings or outpatient clinics; experience in acute care is preferred.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care protocols.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner.
Experience in research or data collection related to dermatology or general medicine is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Prior experience in medical office management or home care services is advantageous. This position offers an engaging environment where your expertise can make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while advancing your professional development within the field of dermatology.
