Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining innovative IT solutions that support our business objectives. This role requires a strong background in cloud computing, virtualization, operating systems, and scripting, with a focus on delivering reliable and scalable infrastructure. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of enterprise-level solutions.

Duties

Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS and Azure platforms.
Manage virtualization environments using VMware to optimize resource utilization and performance.
Configure and maintain operating systems including Windows, Linux, and Oracle environments.
Develop automation scripts using Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting, Python, Java, and SQL to streamline processes.
Implement secure network connections with VPN solutions and ensure compliance with security standards.
Collaborate with development teams to support DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform capacity planning for scalable infrastructure.
Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and best practices for future reference.

Experience

Proven experience working with VMware virtualization technologies.
Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, Linux, and Oracle databases.
Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
Familiarity with network security protocols including VPN setup and management.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Bash (Unix shell), and SQL scripting.
Experience supporting DevOps workflows and automation tools.
Knowledge of containerization technologies is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about technology innovation and eager to develop their expertise in enterprise IT solutions within a collaborative team environment.

Pay: $295,000.00 per year
