About Us

Niko Apparel Systems is a Hamilton-based custom apparel manufacturer specializing in high-performance teamwear, uniforms, custom apparel and decorated merchandise for sports teams, schools, clubs, businesses and organizations across North America.

Team Headquarters (THQ) is our retail and online team store division, providing teams and organizations with custom apparel programs, branded merchandise and online team stores.

We are looking for an energetic Marketing & Sales Coordinator who can help us grow both sides of our business.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on sales and marketing role for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities and turning ideas into business.

The successful candidate will help develop new team and corporate accounts, follow up on sales leads, support existing customers, create marketing and social media content, and help grow our e-commerce and team store business.

We are looking for someone who is proactive and commercially minded — not simply someone waiting for customers to contact us.

You’ll Be Doing Sales & Business Development

· Identify and develop new sales opportunities with sports teams, schools, clubs, leagues, businesses and community organizations

· Prospect for potential customers through email, phone, social media and local outreach

· Follow up on incoming leads, quotes and sales opportunities

· Build relationships with coaches, team managers, athletic departments and organizational decision-makers

· Prepare quotes and apparel proposals for prospective customers

· Help convert inquiries into long-term team and corporate accounts

· Reconnect with previous customers and identify opportunities for repeat business

· Promote Niko Apparel and Team Headquarters products, services and team store programs

· Support sales initiatives at sporting events, tournaments and community events

Marketing & Social Media

· Help plan and execute marketing campaigns for Niko Apparel and Team Headquarters and related lines.

· Create engaging social media content featuring products, teams, customers and behind-the-scenes manufacturing

· Photograph and showcase new products and completed customer orders

· Develop email marketing campaigns and customer communications

· Help promote new products, seasonal programs and special offers

· Identify opportunities to increase awareness of our brands within the sports and local business communities

· Coordinate customer testimonials, success stories and promotional content

· Track campaign performance and help identify which marketing activities are generating leads and sales

E-Commerce & Team Stores

· Help create and maintain Shopify team stores

· Upload products, images, descriptions and pricing

· Work with customers to launch and promote their online team stores

· Identify opportunities to improve online merchandising and increase sales

· Assist with promotions and campaigns designed to drive traffic and conversions

Customer & Account Support

· Maintain strong relationships with existing customers

· Assist customers with apparel selections, decoration options and team programs

· Coordinate internally with production, design and customer service to ensure projects move smoothly from quote to delivery

· Help ensure customers receive responsive, professional service throughout the sales process

We’re Looking for Someone Who

· Has a natural interest in sales, marketing and business development

· Is confident communicating with prospective customers

· Is comfortable picking up the phone, sending an introduction email or reaching out to a potential account

· Understands social media and how businesses can use it to generate awareness and sales

· Is creative and comfortable developing content

· Has strong written and verbal communication skills

· Is organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines

· Is comfortable using email, Word and Excel

· Has experience with Shopify, Canva, social media platforms or email marketing tools — an asset

· Has an interest in sports, apparel, e-commerce or branded merchandise

· Brings ideas to the table and is willing to take initiative
