We are growing fast and building video into a major acquisition and brand channel. We are hiring a senior B2B SaaS video marketer who can do the two things that matter most: write videos that hold attention and convert, and deliver them naturally on camera as the face of Prospeo.
The Role
You will own the message and the delivery of Prospeo's videos. You will research and write long-form and short-form scripts, engineer them for watch time and conversion, and host our long-form videos on camera. Every video must serve a clear marketing goal: rank for a valuable search, educate a B2B buyer, build trust, or convert demand.
This is not a video editor, videographer, production coordinator, or general social-media role. It is a marketing role for someone who understands B2B SaaS buyers and personally writes and presents high-performing video content.
You will have an in-house editor handling editing and production templates, support with research and resources, and a teammate recording the short-form videos. You stay focused on strategy, scripts, and long-form on-camera delivery.
Velocity matters. Our process is built for consistent output, and you should be comfortable taking a long-form video from approved concept to recorded delivery in a single day. If you move quickly, use feedback instead of chasing perfection, and improve through performance data, you will thrive here.
Responsibilities
B2B SaaS Video Strategy
- Turn B2B SaaS, sales intelligence, prospecting, data, and GTM topics into video concepts that buyers want to watch.
- Define the audience, angle, promise, and marketing objective for every video.
- Build a content library that generates qualified discovery, trust, and demand over time.
Scriptwriting
- Write long-form and short-form video scripts optimized for watch time, retention, and conversion.
- Engineer strong hooks, narrative structure, pacing, pattern interrupts, and calls to action grounded in viewer psychology.
- Explain complex software and sales topics clearly without making them generic or superficial.
- Adapt scripts using audience-retention, click-through, watch-time, and conversion data.
On-Camera Hosting
- Host and record Prospeo's long-form videos with a confident, natural, and trustworthy presence.
- Deliver scripts conversationally rather than sounding like you are reading copy.
- Represent Prospeo credibly to marketers, sales leaders, founders, and other B2B buyers.
SEO and Distribution
- Apply video and search SEO so content ranks for commercially relevant topics and attracts qualified traffic.
- Develop titles, descriptions, thumbnail concepts, and metadata that improve discovery and click-through.
- Work with the marketing team to repurpose and distribute each video's core message.
Production and Collaboration
- Work to a fixed publishing schedule and ship consistently at volume.
- Give the editor clear creative direction while remaining accountable for the message and final result.
- Use AI and lightweight production tools to accelerate research, scripting, and iteration.
Requirements
- Direct professional experience creating marketing content for a B2B SaaS or B2B software company. Consumer software, consumer content, entertainment, general videography, or local-business work alone is not sufficient for this role.
- 5+ years of professional marketing or content experience, including at least 3 years focused on video marketing or video scriptwriting.
- A portfolio showing videos you personally wrote and videos you personally hosted on camera. We must be able to identify your contribution to each example.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing: buyer pain, positioning, demand generation, conversion, and how content supports a sales journey.
- Demonstrable video scriptwriting skill, including hooks, retention structure, pacing, persuasion, and calls to action.
- A confident, natural, professional English-language on-camera presence suitable for a B2B audience.
- Evidence that you have shipped video content consistently and used performance data such as watch time, retention, CTR, pipeline, or conversion to improve it.
- High velocity and low ego around iteration: comfortable recording a full long-form video in one day and improving through feedback.
- Excellent written English and the ability to make technical subjects clear, specific, and engaging.
Nice to Have
- Experience marketing sales technology, martech, data products, or GTM software.
- YouTube or video SEO experience, including titles, thumbnails, descriptions, metadata, and keyword-led content.
- Sales or direct-response copywriting experience.
- Experience owning or growing a B2B YouTube channel.
- Experience building a repeatable, high-volume video content system.
- Fluency with AI tools for research, ideation, scripting, and production.
