We’ve been around since 1980 providing solutions to some of the most challenging wildlife conservation problems. If it involves wildlife and technology, we are there. Airports, government agencies, farmers, and industrial groups rely on us to conserve wildlife and prevent damage to people and property. Our technology helps people and wildlife live together.

About the Role:

We are open to a variety of experiences. At minimum you have some connection and passion for animals or wildlife.

You answer the telephone in a professional manner and are able to relay shipping information, and take payment information accurately.
You take consumer direct as well as business 2 business orders.
You are quick to acquire the knowledge to answer basic customer inquiries.
Additional hours are available during the summer.
There is room for advancement for those who show talent in identifying account sales, learning the mechanical and technical function of our products, and providing technical information/troubleshooting info via phone and email.
Hours are 10 am - 2 pm, Monday-Friday.

Social Chameleon: Whether you are speaking to an organic farmer or a corporate buyer you know how to create a connection. You adjust what information you provide and how you say it to cater to your audience.

Sweat the Small Stuff: You understand that a successful sale does not just happen. Going from a lead to delivered products requires a chain of events that must happen according to plan.

Generalist with a Passion for Learning: You apply your general knowledge to a specific challenge, consuming critical information along the way.

Qualifications:

Past experience in a customer-facing role in the environmental, outdoors, agricultural, or resource extraction industries. Wildlife experience is strongly preferred and will be reflected by a higher starting wage.
Familiar with varying requirements of international, wholesale, government, business, and retail sales.
Proficiency with business software, including point of sale, fulfillment programs, and spreadsheets.
Ability to clearly communicate technical information in written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational ability.
Strong geographic and logistics understanding.
