Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. This role is vital in providing excellent customer experiences, managing transactions efficiently, and promoting our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for delivering exceptional service. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or technical sales are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support diverse clientele.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a courteous manner
Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card processing, and returns
Provide product demonstrations and explain features to customers to facilitate informed purchasing decisions
Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Support team members in achieving sales goals through collaborative efforts

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
Strong communication skills in English
Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling
Ability to perform product demos and engage customers effectively
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of merchandising principles and upselling techniques preferred
Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Professional appearance with good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Experience in technology sales or technical sales is advantageous but not required

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
