Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Food and Beverage Server, where your energetic personality and passion for guest service will shine! In this vital role, you will create memorable dining experiences by delivering exceptional service, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met, and engaging with guests to enhance their visit. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and specials
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures, including processing payments and giving correct change
Maintain food safety standards by following sanitation protocols, proper food handling procedures, and hygiene practices
Assist in food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities while providing excellent guest services

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, demonstrating strong guest service skills
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering tasks
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, cash handling, and inventory counts
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and kitchen staff
Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales potential while maintaining a positive attitude
Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and enthusiasm
