Full job description

Your mission:

Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, the Laboratory Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our production processes by conducting tests and analyses on raw materials and finished products to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.

Pulp quality testing
Chip testing
Select process testing

Your profile:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Grade 12 completion or GED
Successful completion of a two-year diploma in a Technology Program with major emphasis on chemical and/or environmental analysis from a recognized Technical Insitutue; or
Successful completion of a Bachelor of Science from a recognized University
Proven experience with environmental or chemical laboratory work
Class 5 Driver's license
Comprehensive knowledge of computerized systems
Proactive, detail-oriented approach to work
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
