Full job description

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in person or over the phone
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately
Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform basic math calculations for change and totals
Prepare and serve food and beverages following food safety standards
Manage food handling and food preparation tasks efficiently
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area
Assist with serving food and beverages, including barista duties if applicable
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures

Requirements

Previous experience in food industry roles such as serving, barista work, or food preparation is preferred
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Prior experience with food service or cash handling is advantageous but not mandatory

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.25 per hour
